It's not as big as the JMDL, but we have about 140 members. It's not moderated, but we mostly stick to the life and times of Jim Nabors (we call him "our Jimmy"). Just like the Lee Shore list, "our Jimmy" will post something to the list, and his parents Mavis and Fred Nabors have posted a few times. That way we get a little input to his childhood. Just like Joni suffered from polio, Jim had to eventually move to LA because of asthma. Of course as you all know he spends most of his time in Honolulu now. We get together once a year (Just like jonifests) in the town where he grew up, Sylacauga, Alabama. Since the list is not moderated, some people get a little off topic and discuss why lesbian sheepherders are attracted to Jim, or why George Bush is the Gomer of today. Since I'm on both lists, it's easy for me to remember the NJC tag (I'm the one that came up with that :~) ) He's real nice in person. He'd give you the shirt off his back. Oh, but that was when he was hitting on me that time. So, yes it's possible to be on more than one list Marianne. Jimmy, who's looking forward to watching "Stroker Ace" on tv night.
