While I'm on the benefits roll ;-) here is a fantastic place to get U.S. health insurance if you have to pay for it yourself. I recently told another JMDLer about it and he was able to cut his monthly bill by over 50%.
Rates are as low as $29.00 a month. Blue Cross insurance as low as $30.00 with no co-pay and lifetime coverage of $5 million. In comparison, through my job I still have to pay $140/mo. in addition to what my employer pays (that is for choice of insurance and not an HMO which almost killed me a few times).
