i have just discovered that the best way to convert joni haters into joni fans is to use BSN and travelogue. amazing! i don't even like those two, but i've been trying them out on friends who before would have run out of the room if i mentioned joni, and it works! it makes me wonder. is it because bsn and t'log are NOT mitchellesque enough? when i play the original versions of the tracks on t'log, the subjects of my experiment say they prefer the new versions, particularly amelia and love. so i wonder if i'm doing joni a service or quite the opposite. do you get what i mean?
