I dont think you can limit the amount of emails one person posts on any given day nor do I think can you limit the amount of what they write.
If I may politely ask, "why not?" And please don't say it's "censorship" when it's not anything but a request for moderation.
Yes it is a harsh proposal...limiting individual bandwidth...but I feel that *something* should be done. It's fine to call for everyone to be civil and reasonable but I'd bet that shortly after this current "state of the list" discussion ends, things will be right back to the "state" that has prompted this thread.
