Walk on the Moon/Liev Schrieber/ RE: Cactus Tree

       LIev Schrieber is in that movie, "A Walk on the Moon" and I just 
think he is one sexy beast! He was also in "The Day Trippers", "Party Girl", 
"Walking and Talking"--one film I do suggest anyone to rent, and many 
others. I was thrilled when I was working at Juilliard last year that my 
boss worked with him in college. Unfortunately, she said he is a bit full of 
himself and doesnot swing the other way! Too bad for me! :)  I found that 
soundtrack by accident in a bargain bin. It is pretty good, containing alot 
of the psychedelic and pop songs of the mid to late sixties. There are also 
a few covers of older classics and one of them, Crimson and CLover, sung by 
Cher and her son, Elijah Blue is the only awkward clunker on the album.

Hi--wow, what a coincidence...Joni's everywhere! ...was casually reading 
the
Joni list, and enjoying someone's post of falling on love all over again 
with
Blue, when the oening strains of Cactus Tree begin, grabbing my attention
immediately..turns out it's the background to a scene in A Walk on the 
Moon,
with Diane Lane (love her!)... it's playing throughout a scene where she 
and
the hunk from LOTR are swimming in a fabulous canyon, getting it on the 
whole
time! "..and she's so busy being free..."

this kind of stuff always makes my day... call me crazy!
