The recent debate about the state of the list and people switching to the joni-only list has got me wondering about why people are on the JO list; is it because they really only want to read about Joni-related stuff, or is it as a way of avoiding having to wade through all the stuff about sex, politics and religion, genital piercing, what I had for breakfast, why "swinging both ways" means something different in cricket to what it means elsewhere, and so on?
Or, is it somewhere in between those two positions, ie that posts about Joni, Joni related artists and music in general would be welcome, as long as all the other stuff were filtered out? I don't suppose there would be consensus, but I'm sure at least some of the people on the JO list would fall into that position. What I was turning over in my head was, would it be worth considering a tag of NMC (no music content) to replace NJC? Azeem in London
