Mr. Rogers was a piece of my childhood and a little piece of our own lifes growing up. My drama teacher in high school worked on the show as a writer for a short while in the 70's. She wrote the episode about telling kids not to be afraid of the drain in the bathtub and that it won't suck you under. Sadly, like with Burl Ives, I had thought that Mr. Rogers died 10 years ago. Goodbye MR. Rogers and all your puppets too.

Fred Rogers died, the tv just announced -

I was never a fan, but what a kind and gentle man he was, and how much he loved and educated children -

it was stomach cancer, I hope this good man did not suffer much.

Can we say, "We'll miss you - and thanks"

Vince
