I was in Todos Santos (Baja Mexico) - home of the "real" Hotel California - in December 2001, walking up one of the lovely little streets ... I was wearing my wonderful JoniFest 2001 t-shirt, which has a photo of Joni on the front. An American woman was walking toward me, and suddenly she stopped, pointed at my shirt and exclaimed, "Joni Mitchell!!" Then we looked at each other and smiled the biggest smiles.
