Yes the old buzzard has circled around for another year.... Still caught in
the updraft and not intending to land for a while....

Thanks for the birthday wishes and for those of you who have admitted (off
list and on) that you find Hejira complicated at first. WEll I am giving it a
rest for now... sticking with the T'Log ones I like from that album, and
re-visiting Furry on BSN to see if it becomes tolerable..... we shall see.

I actually was given a CD version of FTR yesterday and Oh wow what a lovely
album that is. My vinyl one became a statistic of the end of a relationship
many years ago and I had not replaced it on CD... OH what a wonderful to have
that again and Joni's voice is soaring about the room as I type this.

Do any of you have Joni Albums that you had "lost" in one circumstance or
another and then they came back to you .........and you find that they are
listened to this time around, with a totally different perspective....but are
just blindingly brilliant and new?

I seem to have the same feelings about C&S and Blue, and Clouds when I came
back to them on CD a few years back. A lot of the other albums, like Hejira
were new to me as I had such a gap in my listening to Joni with any
regularity.... getting it all together with a huge back catalogue in 2000.

Maybe that is why I like T'log... and BSN (most of it)

Anyway, on with the day

Lucy who is eyeing the world from the giddy heights of being 46!!! thanks
again for the wishes, you are all so kind...

Lucy
