I was flipping channels yesterday and landed on Worldlink-TV-
they were rebroadcasting news shows from several middle
eastern countries. The graphic on Iran TV is "War For Oil".
The anchor was a woman covered from head to toe, except
for her face. Much of the perspective about events taking place
in Iraq was contradictory to that of the US media. (Worldlink
is showing "Mosaic", selections of middle east news daily at
3:30 & 6:30 EST).

>From mainstream news: Haliburton, the oil conglomerate Dick
Cheney headed until he was forced to divest when he became
Vice President, has been awarded the multimillion $ contracts
to rebuild Iraq's oil fields. Haliburton's contract may be worth
as much as $1bil. Cheney still recieves a yearly wage from
Haliburton, somewhere between $100k and $1mil.
>From alternate news (uncomfirmed at this point): Elizabeth Cheney,
gay daughter of the VP, is on her way from Jordan to Iraq to
become a human shield.
