This is an issue that has to do with SEO. It helps to have keywords in the url of you page, so an url like http://vehicles.com/classic/cord.html would help in the search engine ranking for searches on classic cars. I haven't seen a way in joomla to do something like this.

If I prefix the article alias with vehicle/, the / gets stripped out and I get vehiclecord.html. If I categorize the articles, the categories don't show up in the url.

This problem also limits the amount of page titles you can use. For instance, you would not be able to use a page named overview for a section on dune buggies and also a section on pickups (http://vehicles.com/dunebuggies/overview.html, http://vehicles.com/pickups/overview.html).

I am finding this to be a problem. Any solutions or workarounds?

Thanks,
Mark
