Hmm, I've been stripping all the Joomfish code since I don't use it and it confuses things. But I think here you have a simple matter that most people who would use Joomfish would normally have it installed first anyway, so no one ever tested the inverse order. You should document this for them and post it to the forums[do they have a wiki?] >Now I'm stuck understanding how to put content on the frontpage. >Should be simple, but I'm getting a Warning: Invalid argument supplied >for foreach() in >/home/helvecio/public_html/j1517/components/com_k2/views/latest/view.html.php >on line 35 >Home, which I have NO idea where it might be coming from! At a guess, your running PHP version 5.3 and most code has been designed for PHP 5.2 since 5.3 was initially a big eff up. 5.3 has finally reached a decent point of stability....but there are still a lot of people like me who got burned with it initially and have to be dragged kicking to start using it. I''m finally at the point of installing it by default and trying to master the new terminology. >So far, I see K2 is a great tool for blogging with Joomla. To be honest, MyBlog seems a much better solution for blogging. As for K2..... it's like Sobi and all those other CCK's... I think their great for general needs, but they try to be too much for everyone and I'm coming to feel that I just need to make my own CCK.
