Does the old DB have any data?
Or did you use it for the new install and choose the "install without
sample data".
If so I think you may have lost the data.
Where do you host?

There's the problem. Your tables are using bak_ as a prefix. Make sure
that you set that in the configuration file. It's probably set to jos_.
