Hello, Thank you for your patience. I had to review some historic decisions to see why we're currently not officially supporting Oracle 10g (although from a technical perspective, jOOQ works perfectly fine on 10g).
At the time, we had no means to integration test jOOQ on 10g as already at the time, Oracle did not make that version available to OTN licensees or as an express edition. This was before Data Geekery was created to offer commercial licensing and support for jOOQ. Today, we don't have any reason to limit ourselves from that perspective. We'll officially add support for Oracle 10g in the next days, and update our license terms and website. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.
