Hi Sergey,

Long time no see! :)

I unfortunately do not have any experience with InterSystems Caché. There
is a feature request to add support for this RDBMS:
https://github.com/jOOQ/jOOQ/issues/4723

But it has seen very little traction over the past years, which relates to
the ranking on this list:
https://db-engines.com/en/ranking

One of the most SQL-92 compatible dialects in my experience is HSQLDB,
which others have used successfully with Hive SQL, for example. But
obviously, there will be caveats. If the types of queries you're going to
run will remain simple, then it might be possible to use jOOQ for Caché
maybe only with a few minor tweaks.

If you want to use source code generation, you could use the DDLDatabase,
XMLDatabase, or the JDBCDatabase, which are all quite vendor agnostic
(DDLDatabase relies on knowing the DDL syntax in the parser grammar).

I hope this helps,
Lukas
