Hello Snr John, long time. Trust all is well? Can we reach an amicable position on this issue? First everything you have stated below seem the right thing to do but i hv an issue with your persistent use of the word 'I' and u can see the immediate effect of it? Kadiri is already breaking away with a full set? Given u are the administrator of this group but i recall u gave some of us moderator statuses and its only fair u carry everyone along on such far reaching decisions. Let us not send the wrong signals pls.
I also believe this isnt jst a Lagos agenda as everyone whether in Lagos or not stands to benefit from this posting as a previous testimony mail attested to; even I got a job offer but the terms werent right - note that i actually attended an interview in london - we jst need to structure the broadcast in a more acceptable manner, maybe thru alternative link but nt thru breakaway sites. Besides if there are elected officials meditating or negotiating compromise then u hv to oblige them otherwise u sidestep constituted authorities and further compromise the situation. Pls let's sheathe our swords now in the interest of CommandJos. The email group is for Jos Commandos issues not for job vacancies. You can send encouraging words, announcements, Meeting summaries, pictures, Essays etc. that are related to our school CSS Jos or Jos Commandos. Job Vacancies, Politics, porn-Jokes, trivial nonsense and any other stuff is not allowed. 2. For those who want to get job vacancies from Kadiri, please use the group that was created SPECIFICALLY for that. It was created in August 2009 and currently has 16 members. The link is given below: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JosCommandosJobs/ Kadiri can use it if he wants to keep sending job vacancies. 3. Why did I stop him? I have to stop him before Yahoo Inc. penalises our group for s*p*a*m*m*i*n*g. This is when you send so many many mails at the same time THAT ARE UNSOLICITED. 4. If he had restricted his mails to, say, one or two per day (like some of the FORWARDED jokes that come) it would have been manageable. But, 10-20 mails per day? That's unacceptable. 5. I noticed that Kadiri's mails keep getting flagged as "possible" SPAM and I had to do something. I won't go into the details of what I had to do. 6. I have gotten calls from John Akadang and Barka Benson Saleh on the issue. It seems, Kadiri has been encouraged by the Lagos Chapter to do what he is doing. John has also appealed that he be brought back as a Moderator. Even though I have my doubts about Kadiri being Moderator-material, I will bow to the Lagos Chapter and return him soon. 7. Meanwhile, Kadiri has just created a group where I suspect he will be sending his Job Vacancies. The group link is given below: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/93Excommandoes/ So for those who want to keep receiving Job Vacancies, you now have two opportunities: ->The Jos Commandos Jobs group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JosCommandosJobs/ -> and the new Kadiri Group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/93Excommandoes/ I hope I have satisfied all parties especially those who want the Job vacancy openings in their in-boxes. Thank you. stay blessed, Adam John ('86, Tiger House) --- On Wed, 8/11/10, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: >From: [email protected] <[email protected]> >Subject: [Jos Commandos] Re: Membership change for JosCommandos (NO MORE JOB >MAILS TO ALL) >To: "Kadiri Ibrahim" <[email protected]>, "John Akadang CSSJ 1988" ><[email protected]>, "Andrew Akhidenor" <[email protected]>, "Mmaette >Ojo" <[email protected]>, "Dan Opolo" <[email protected]>, "Tunde >Okikiolu" <[email protected]>, "Taiwo Akinosho" <[email protected]>, >"Kester Buzugbe" <[email protected]>, "commandoes" ><[email protected]> >Cc: "Aliyu James Pindar" <[email protected]>, "augusta ihaza" ><[email protected]>, "Ese Fregene" <[email protected]>, "Stephen >Audu" <[email protected]>, "brendan nnadi" <[email protected]>, "Gabriel >Bigwan" <[email protected]>, "lugo Ben" <[email protected]>, "Dennis >Iyelih CSSJ 1984 USA" <[email protected]>, "George Igboanugo" ><[email protected]>, "Tariworio Dick CSSJ 1981 Navy Capt" ><[email protected]>, "Emeka Okeke" <[email protected]>, "Okiemute Enaibe" ><[email protected]>, "George Odiong" <[email protected]>, "Henry Ihejirikah" ><[email protected]>, "Ikenna Mbanefo" <[email protected]>, >"iyare omoruyi" <[email protected]>, "Onyisi Iruh" <[email protected]>, >"Taju Yahaya" <[email protected]>, [email protected] >Date: Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 10:37 PM > > > >Bragadoe, > >Immense contribution you've made to the association and other family members I >must say. > >There are ways to sustain this invaluable contribution. > >We'll definitely resolve this. > >Regards. > >Saleh Barka >1986 Set, Flying Horse > > >Sent from my BlackBerry wireless device from MTN ________________________________ >From: Kadiri Ibrahim <braga...@yahoo. com> >Date: Wed, 11 Aug 2010 13:01:36 -0700 (PDT) >To: John Akadang<johnakadang@ yahoo.com>; Andrew Akhidenor<ajaropepper@ >yahoo.com>; Mmaette Ojo<mmae...@mtnnigeria. net>; Dan Opolo<dan_op...@yahoo. >com>; Tunde Okikiolu<tunde_okikiolu@ yahoo.com>; Taiwo Akinosho<tiw...@yahoo. >com>; Saleh Benson<bbsa...@yahoo. com>; <kay...@yahoo. com>; >commandoes<joscommandos@ yahoogroups. com> >Cc: commandoes<joscommandos@ yahoogroups. com>; Aliyu James >Pindar<pin4...@yahoo. com>; augusta ihaza<aih...@cenbank. org>; Ese >Fregene<prince.fregene@ csl-apapa. com>; Stephen Audu<saz...@yahoo. com>; >Taiwo >Akinosho<tiw...@yahoo. com>; barka saleh<bbsa...@yahoo. com>; brendan >nnadi<thronelinkcon@ yahoo.com>; Gabriel Bigwan<gabriel.bigwan@ shell.com>; >Kester Buzugbe<kay...@yahoo. com>; lugo Ben<raftex1...@yahoo. com>; dennis >iyelih<deye...@yahoo. com>; George Igboanugo<drigba...@yahoo. com>; Tariworio >Dick<tariwo...@yahoo. com>; Emeka Okeke<eoke...@yahoo. com>; Okiemute >Enaibe<enai...@slb. com>; George Odiong<gtennis...@aol. com>; Henry >Ihejirikah<henry.ihejirikah@ eu.weatherford. com>; Ikenna >Mbanefo<ikmban...@yahoo. com>; iyare omoruyi<iyareomoruyi@ yahoo.co. uk>; >Onyisi >Iruh<emod...@yahoo. com>; Taju Yahaya<fals...@yahoo. com>; <kpeter...@yahoo. >com> >Subject: Fw: Membership change for JosCommandos (NO MORE JOB MAILS TO ALL) > > >I greet ooo! >Compliments. ... > >I got the below email today. >My other yahoo box (that I use to send the Job list coming my way) has been >taken off the joscommandos group by Sagai John Adam( 86 Set Tiger House) and >also my status has also been changed..... .....with this situation,I wouldnt >be >able to send any Job list that comes my way to our excommandoes as from >tomorrow. > >I hope I didnt inconvenience ANYBODY! > >I wish all excommandoes the very best........ > > > >Best Regards >Ibrahim kadiri ............ .....Bragadoe > > >"Never let them see you coming" > > >--- On Wed, 8/11/10, Yahoo!
