The teaching/knowledge we got at CSSJ is world class to say the least! When I decribe Temperate land forms ( Glacier activity,Old faithful geyser,mesa and butte,desert features-yardang, zeugen etc) to my US schooled colleagues, they are often so impressed because they know next to nothing about the geography of thier own country.
Whereas, if you recall, we did the geography of Nigeria,West Africa, Africa, and then the world in that expanding order.Outstanding! Command expanded my mind beyond belief.Great nostalgia-the competition and the zeal to excel.Still waiting to replicate that experience. Just like you Bayo, I loved Geography( Had A1 twice-GCE/WAEC).At a point taught I would study architecture or Engineering but medicine held sway. What a school! Forever grateful.
