The teaching/knowledge we got at CSSJ is world class to say the least!

When I decribe Temperate land forms ( Glacier activity,Old faithful geyser, mesa
and butte, desert features-yardang, zeugen etc) to my US schooled colleagues,
they are often so impressed because they know next to nothing about the
geography of thier own country.

Whereas, if you recall, we did the geography of Nigeria,West Africa, Africa,
and
then the world in that expanding order.Outstanding!

Command expanded my mind beyond belief.Great nostalgia-the competition and the
zeal to excel.Still waiting to replicate that experience.

Just like you Bayo, I loved Geography( Had A1 twice-GCE/WAEC).At a point taught
I would study architecture or Engineering but medicine held sway.
What a school! Forever grateful.

qualms studying Geo till in Uni. Well, thot about career options and went for
accounting jeje.

Hmn that corper guy (Yemi or something) was so hot, he had all the babes ouing

Bukky,
Yes she taught geography.Same department as Mr. Bamidele Ishola. She is
fine.Like
I said, still in command.Probably one of the few teachers you will recognize if
you go there.Ms Alosiba (maths Teacher) also stil there.Suprised Blaise
Zirra did not meet her the last time he was there.
Were you in Ponjul Zwalda's set?
Cheers

Great Stories!
Concerning confessions, I remember placing one leg of a senior's (name
withheld) shoe in the trash can.(I did this because he unussually, kept picking
on me).
But this is certainly not as dangerous as the toilet water tale.Except if he
stepped on some broken glass, while wearing just one shoe.

For those of you from flying horse (Daniel Opolo etc), I came to know that the
real name of the flying horse is "Pegasus". I have always felt the name "Flying
Horse House" was too adjectivial unlike the names of the other
houses-Tiger,Dragon,Octopus (Proper nouns). I wonder why the Army Education
Corps people, did not just use "Pegasus". Pegasus sounds cool IMHO.

Speaking Of names,   Uche Udemba '89 aka Ipomoea batatas  '89,FHH lost his
father about 2 weeks ago.
If you can, please shoot him a commiserativeemail  [email protected]

Finally, my Mum (Mrs. Arhuidese) our school's current Vice Principal Admin ,
sends her love and prayers.

Cheers

Onon Arhuidese "89 (Pegasus House)

Osadolo,

Do you remember sponsoring the famous table soccer tournament (Osad '90)?
I came close to nominating you for the position of 'ground rules prefect' for
this yahoogroup.
Nice to see your comments.

Yemi,

To the rescue... Hmm. Anyway I completely agree with you that Bukky's character
was impeccable. Her participation in our chat is also commendable, I just
wanted
to give her a little knock.

Femi,
I wonder oh. But rising up to their defense, they must have seen him neat and a
good model of what a hard working guy should look like. They also would have
been looking at him wt a reflection of hw we will look like years to come.
Femi,
Taiwo, Razaq and all, they meant it on the positive. By the way Bukky was 100%
loyal. Lol.

Tiwiex, apparently his file is on my table for approval to build in lekki, it
was in a company name so I dint know...I allowed him to finish his talk before
introducing myself as his ex student, he was quite elated to know that one of
his ex was now a "big man"( his words not mine). He his now based in canada
with
his wife and kids, but he recently lost his last son to a car crash..but by and
large he still looks good.
