Hum, we have touched upon a topic I've been meaning to ask the group.
How many of you had crushes on teachers.
Mine was my physics teacher in SS3. Mr okoli, I liked him so much that I took a
picture with him during the final exams.
Whist sorting my old pictures, recently because I just moved house as I just
married, I found the picture and I confessed to my husband :) the teacher was a
corper if I remember correctly.
Cheers

Great Stories!
Concerning confessions, I remember placing one leg of a senior's (name
withheld) shoe in the trash can.(I did this because he unussually, kept picking
on me).
But this is certainly not as dangerous as the toilet water tale.Except if he
stepped on some broken glass, while wearing just one shoe.

For those of you from flying horse (Daniel Opolo etc), I came to know that the
real name of the flying horse is "Pegasus". I have always felt the name "Flying
Horse House" was too adjectivial unlike the names of the other
houses-Tiger,Dragon,Octopus (Proper nouns). I wonder why the Army Education
Corps people, did not just use "Pegasus". Pegasus sounds cool IMHO.

Speaking Of names,   Uche Udemba '89 aka Ipomoea batatas  '89,FHH lost his
father about 2 weeks ago.
If you can, please shoot him a commiserative email  [email protected]

Finally, my Mum (Mrs. Arhuidese) our school's current Vice Principal Admin ,
sends her love and prayers.

I wonder oh. But rising up to their defense, they must have seen him neat and a
good model of what a hard working guy should look like. They also would have
been looking at him wt a reflection of hw we will look like years to come.
Femi, Taiwo, Razaq and all, they meant it on the positive. By the way Bukky was

Tiwiex, apparently his file is on my table for approval to build in lekki, it
was in a company name so I dint know...I allowed him to finish his talk before
introducing myself as his ex student, he was quite elated to know that one of
his ex was now a "big man"( his words not mine). He his now based in canada
with his wife and kids, but he recently lost his last son to a car crash..but
by and large he still looks good.

Waoh! What a confession...... On a visiting day while in JSS1, I stood

provision N10,000.00 to help deliver. Though, he tipped me. On getting to d
hostel, I searched for the beneficiary but all to no avail. I dealt with d
perishables that night. I continued my search which lasted for 48hrs but still
didn't get d person. Everything automatically became mine..... A ghost had
visited me! Many thanks to that man cos he made not only my day but my term.

I can't sleep cos of what u wrote I hope its not me o! I once did something
similar in the days of water scarcity a senior asked me to was his bowl! I used
a dirty cloth from the line and my saliva, if he had smelt the bowl, he would
never have used a bowl to eat in his life! But he didn't. I honestly can't
remember his name(how convenient)

Snr Mmaette,
Ha are u sure we r ready to go down that road "confessions"..am sure a lot of
us did things that looking back now, we won't be to proud of...I remember I
once gave my senior (don't want to mention his name else he will have a fit)
water from the water closet shank..to drink, am sure u all remember those giant
bugs, and foam soaked in the water used to clean up after doing ur
bizness..anyway we came back frm prep nd he demanded we get him drinking water
when non was available, after much flogin et all..I got my bed sheet did some
sifting and gave him water..guess what? He asked for more..nd I gladly obliged
him...that was the worst night of my life cos I was sure he would be dead by
morning..but alas he did not die..rather he flogged me of my bed for jogging
the following morning...but if any of my juniors ever wondered y I never send
them to get me water to drink? Now u know...any other confessions out there???
Pls do tell.
What
 happened to senior Ariyike's gari??

Well i was already out of command by then but i remember that the ban on garri
started in the time of Col Ayoola.
I remember we arrived with the school bus from the airport that term, must have
been in 1985 not quite sure and was told that everybody had to be checked at
the administrative block to be sure that we had all that was in the school
prospectus for the term and then a notice was also placed that no one was
allowed in with garri.
I also remember that for the first time since i got into command in 1983 i had
almost half a bag of garri that term, i decided to hide it outside while the
check was going on inside the staff room, i was luck to get away without being
catch then the next hurdle was to get it pass the perfects at the gate of the
hostel  i realised it was going to be a very difficult task so i hide it behind
the assemble hall hoping to go back
for it later at night. my friends and i thot it was a well thought out plan
until.......
