ACTIVITIES COJOSA UK-IRL SHOULD NOT INVOLVED IN UK AND IRL Chapter needs to look at other chapters. The COJOSA constitution will need to be reviewed which will require amendments and additions to the constitution. As a result of the above, a review of the activities to be involved in will be decided. 2. EMBLEM (OFFICIAL LOGO) The emblem of COJOSA UK-IRL should be the same as that of the Nigerian Chapters. KO phoned the President of the Lagos Chapter. In the discussion, the President agreed that he would send the Logo which is used by the Chapter. The T-shirts of the Lagos Chapter was also discussed and the President was informed the UK and IRL Chapter would like to use their style. The President apologised for the recent issue relating to May minutes on the Jos Commandos Yahoo group. The President also mentioned that an email was sent to review the Constitution but this was not received by the UK and IRL Chapter. He said he will send the email again which the House should look at and contribute to the proposals and amendments that are required. If the House has any questions, they should ask him. This has been provided by the President of the Lagos Chapter (Saleh Barka Benson and is now in use by COJOSA UK-IRL) 3.REGISTERING COJOSA UK-IRL AS A TRUST The Certificate of incorporation as a trust has been provided The issue of a Trust bank account was not discussed in debt due to the absence of Gboye. Need to start advanced planning, which will include looking for a venue. Names of the people on the 2012 are required. JA to assist. 6. FAMILY FUN DAY IN THE PARK KO explained to the JA what the event was about. Aim was to give awareness of the Chapter as well as bring as many ex-commandos together. The Serpentine area of the park was the agreed location. A proposal to have T-Shirts and caps similar to the Lagos Chapter was discussed. A formal letter of invitation will be written to the officials of the COJOSA North America and COJOSA Nigeria chapters to officially invite them to the Family fun day in the park taking place on the 30th July 2011 in London UK, hosted by COJOSA UK-IRL. The UK and IRL will cater for the rest of Europe until other Chapters spring up ( and is stated in small print) It was discussed the UK and IRL can expand into Europe in the future. Also discussed was a domain name for the web site; the House would need to decide on a name. The whole House will need to agree to this. 12. WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT FOR CURRENT STUDENTS A separate website was also discussed which related to the current students to communicate what the issues are and how the house can assist to rectify some of those issue. JA raised his concern about this in relation to security, the students being minors and if this would be acceptable by their parents. It was suggested that students' identity would be anonymous. It was also suggested that the House would need to co-ordinate with the Nigerian and USA Chapters. 13. CIC AND COJOSA FACEBOOK The issue of having a separate facebook for CIC and COJOSA was confusing though they are one and the same thing. The idea was to identify COJOSA as a CIC Trust. The issue would be resolved by using the same official Command Jos logo for both face book sites and using the face book group site for mainly for ex-command student who live in the UK, Ireland and Europe respectively. AOB Minutes to be sent to the Presidents of all the Chapters were debatable and needs clarification.
