Well done to all our seniors for handling this issue in a matured way and
setting the right example and precedence for the rest of us. It is clear that
everyone had good intentions.

That now done and dusted, lets face the task of achieving our goal. Which I
believe is to raise 17 million and then the execution. If we spend so much time
and energy debating on the later we might lose hold on the former. I advise
that every set begin to go to work now. Please can we know the time frame to
raise this money, so we can be guided accordingly. As a way of incentive, we
can recognise and maybe give an award to the first 3 sets to hit the mark.

For 92 set, I propose the hard working Rasak to coordinate for Lagos, the sleek
Taiwo to coordinate for Abuja, the reserved Dayo for PH, the cool Bukki to
handle the UK. Any seconders, additions, subtractions?

Good morning everyone!! Money is coming to you today. You are favoured on every
side. God is causing men to remember you now, for that business, job and
opportunity. You walk in health, prosperity and victory. Have a fantastic day
ahead. You are blessed and highly favoured.

Osadolo Osamwonyi, 92 set.

Senior Ugo Ben, good morning sir, by my timing here.

The least of my intentions was to have made u feel the way u felt after my
reactions. With due respect to you and all other great COJOSA members sharing
passionate opinions on this very important matter, I express my regrets!

The crux of this issue therefore, is for the intervention fund and project to
be achieved, so I will plead that while we try to share our varying opinions,
let's get moving contacting our set mates, without further ado.

Senior Emeka, I am still on my knees sir, but had to bring my hands down to
type this.

Thank u all and God bless COJOSA

@Lugo. Ugo Ben how are you and family? Sorry I missed the blasting posts and I
apologise on behalf of the blasters. Both your comments and that of Bigwan are
spot on and very edifying. The various chapters will work out modalities on the
disbursement of the funds then appoint their monitors. Note that it is not
conceivable that such funds be given to anyone. We will collectively use our
money to do what it is meant to do. On the lighter note Godwin Okpe kneel down
hands up and close your eyes. Kofo go and cut grass at Hyde park London and
Adams submitt your one month provisions for penance. Emeka Igboanugo 82'

Subject: [Jos Commandos] INTERVENTION FUND: THE REAL ISSUE

Great Commandos,
I have read and re read my Sept 30 post on this forum “Before
the 17 million intervention fund” and I’m yet to find a text or phrase where I,
Ugo Ben muted or alluded or called for a probe on the administration of CSSJ.
Similarly, there appears to be no evidence to suggest that I am against such a
wonderful idea: an intervention fund for our alma mater as initiated by great
and passionate commandos; Kofo  Owojori
(86) and Sagai John Adam (86).
My personal opinion on such a proposal on a public domain
was on the strategy or strategies that could be explored. Few minutes after
these were posted on this forum my dear Godwin Okpe (87) came swinging and
practically blasted me off. Two days ago, our own Kofo and Adams came accusing
me of “muting” the probe idea. I think we are better than this. I shall NOT
demand for an apology. What binds us together is stronger than whatever the
differences in opinion,  however I would
expect COJOSA leaders especially our Eko Brothers/Sisters to intervene as
suggested by Harold Nwariaku (88) on ”the tone of our emails”.
I have come to realize that alumni matters are voluntary in
nature and involve approaches that require motivation, inspiration, diplomacy,
respect,
appreciation, conviction etc.
I had commended the President and VP of Lagos chapter (Saleh
Barka, 86 and Babayeju Taiwo, 84) when I learnt they went to Jos on a fact
finding mission. I also commended them on this forum when their initial report
was posted by John Akadang (88) and Harold.
On Oct 6 John informed us on this forum that a general
meeting of COJOSA Lagos chapter will be called at end of this month (Oct) to
discuss the report on the Jos visit. We are still waiting on the outcome of the
deliberations from North America. Not sure if PH, Abuja and UK-IRL general
assemblies have discussed but there are already set coordinators and monies are
already been collected. With due respect to everybody on this forum, it is here
that I really need help.
I think the issue is not a probe on CSSJ. The real issue is
Project management as pointed out by Gabriel Bigwan (85).That is the” weakest
link” in the proposal. This is the real issue that may affect this good idea if
not debated. We will raise the 17 million naira and maybe even more. Nobody has
yet opposed the idea of raising money. For the sake of CSSJ even after this
initial 17 million; let’s discuss the real issue either on this forum or at our
various general meetings. I reckon ‘am a proponent of Due Process especially
when it is everybody’s money.
Thanks.
Ugo Ben (82)
