Good that you updated and keep this alive. You likely have to to some work when
FIPS 206 ipd is published. But would suggest to keep the draft short, we don’t
need more long draft describing everything quantum.

- “FALCON512”
- “FALCON1024”

The draft could/should already now remove the term Falcon. The final draft
should not use the term Falcon expept “previously known as Falcon”.

Cheers,
John

Thank you Orie, it's important we have compact PQC standardized. I appreciate
your work on this and will be tracking its maturity closely for inclusion into
our production stack.

Hi,

As directed by cose chairs, I have refreshed this WG adopted draft, and
modernized its tooling.

The draft is now maintained in the working group github repo:
https://github.com/cose-wg/draft-ietf-cose-falcon

I've left sections blank that are waiting for FIPS-206 to be published before I
can say anything clever there.

I've also aligned this draft with ML-DSA and SLH-DSA.

There is a related PR open on the SLH-DSA draft here:
https://github.com/cose-wg/draft-ietf-cose-sphincs-plus/pull/10

Regards,

OS
