Hi,
is anyone using the ImportImage plugin? I recently did some work on
it for a client and found a lot of bugs, like where they got their X and
Y axes mixed up and so on. I fixed them and now things work ok for my
client but in my eyes the plugin was *so* broken that it could not
possibly have worked except in a very limited number of use cases.
So before I check in my fixes (and possibly break it for everyone who
had somehow adapted to its brokenness), I would like to ask for some
real-world test cases so I can make sure that what I check in is really
an improvement ;)
BTW, regarding reprojections - I note that ImportImage contains a
whopping 9 MB of libraries to deal with re-projecting images. This makes
me think that (a) full reprojection support will never be in JOSM core
because that would triple the size of the download; and (b) if we make a
generic reprojection plugin it would be cool to have ImportImage depend
on that somehow rather than adding all the libs a second time.
