Could you be more specific? What are the features that you like to implement? The tag correction when reversing way direction is already implemented (ReverseWayTagCorrector.java). A starting point for the relation sorting would be the package org.openstreetmap.josm.gui.dialogs. relation.sort, however the current sorting algorithm is based on the topology (how the ways are connected end to end) and relation roles are ignored (if I recall correctly).
