I some how feels that, if someone is claiming that his deeds are against the
Kingdom of God, then the whole thing should not be encouraged. In Arrow of
light, Glen talks about this, that some of the group claims that they are
inspired by the evil spirits etc etc etc...
I am not emotional, this is just my views.

I am not at all an expert in this topic. But, after hearing the
"Arrow of Light" audio cassette which describes about satanic music, I
strongly feel that the music can be used for good and evil purposes. If one
gets a feeling of depression, unhappiness, suicidal attitude etc. after
hearing a particular music, it is definitely evil. Obviously, the music
that is used for satan worship can never be good.
As I said, I am not an expert in this issue and I cannot
authentically comment on it. I do not listen to rock music also. So, I think
someone who has a better knowledge can throw some light on it. Or else, some
of us can consult with a proper person and put the views on the Joynet.

I wonder if this is true at all. I think it largely depends on how
YOU as
listener reacts to the music. I do have both Hotel California, and
an album
by Enigma, and to tell you the truth, I enjoy listening to the music
per se,
and don't care much about what the words mean (even if there happens
to be
any). I think music moves people, and it certainly does me!!
Ofcourse, I
don't go to such extremes as committing suicide, because that's NOT
the
purpose that God brought me into this world. I also listen to other
types of
music such as purely Choral and a cappella (only vocals and
haromnies...no
instruments absolutely), and Yanni, besides others such as the
Eagles (Hotel
California fame) and Enigma. And they all THRILL me to say the
least. I am
NOT talking about the words (that could be a different
issue...Enigma by the
way uses very little words...its mostly instrumental...wonder what
harm that
could produce)...but somehow I DO enjoy their music...their blend of
the
various instruments etc., Music by groups like Enigma is good, and
as long
as I personally am not affected in any way in the negative sense, I
don't
see any reason why its wrong to listen to them. Anyone
agrees/disagrees with
me? Perhaps someone senior might be able to throw more light on
this, and
guide us in the right path. Thanks for listening, and have a great
