Dear friends, Those days of conference were really festive and anointing. No doubt! We had more than 4600 youth + near 250 kids. It was a wonderful sight that people belong to different streams came under one roof and shared the "Love of Jesus". Sure this conference gave a new confidence & inspiration to become 'saints of new millenium'
>From Joby Michel (friend of mine, a person who were in net in its starting time onwards and still reciting 3rd decade of joyful mystery for JOYnet) informed me that many netters are attending the programme. I was eager to meet my unseen friends! 2nd day noontime a simple man came to registration counter (most of the time I was there) & called me. Yes! He was Mathew Joseph our coordinator. We are lucky to have such a nice perosn as our coordinator. He came along with Giju (our administrator) and Jose Antony (Bangalore Jesus youth coordinator) 3rd day, (26th morning) Mathew Joseph and Giju gave a brief description about JOYnet & Jesus youth web site for the crowd. Mathew was talking in English and translator many times stutter for correct Malayalm words, then our coordinator said to her that he would handle both languages. This comment provoked many to clap their hands for our coordinator. After all this we had nice gathering around 25 of us came together. Abraham (josh gang) John Praksah (Abu Dabhi), Mathew Joseph, Giju, Shobith, Diana, Linda, Cuckoo, Jiju, Joby Michel, Jose Antony, our Eddy chettan and many......We all introduced ourselves, shared how net helped us to grow, open up our dreams for JOYnet, and we all prayed together. Finally Giju invited all us for his wedding. Later we many had opportunity to meet personally and deepen the relations. Diana a pretty gal from Bangalore was telling me that she wants to write in JOYnet but fear struck her to address 600 netters. Haiiiiiii gal we all are simple people. Come forward and inspire us, Ok. One young guy came close to me and asked: "Do you know me?" Then he introduced himself as "Shobith" yes, he was the same person who asked our prayer support to attend this conference. How thrilling it's to know that our prayers are working! Then met John Prakash and his wife, the newly wedded couples! Yes it was really nice to meet all the wonderful people whom I only know through mails. Its too good to think and feel that even we are miles away from each other, still we all are friends! Thank God, for allowing us to widen our friendship circle throught this JOYnet!!! Praise God!
