It is a mini Bank functioning at our doorstep It is very good programme of the development of the country. It was started in Bengladesh and India Government has found it as a very good means for development. People who are below poverty line can get much benefit through SHGs. Government will give a revolving fund for these groups after six months of formation, if they function well. The groups have monthly meting regular saving and internal lending they can get loans for income generating programmes.
