Hi all, I am writing this mail with great pain. Today, after a lot of searching and discussion (between my wife Sofi and myself) i had decided to go for an Inner Healing retreat at Nirmala Retreat Centre, Kulathuvayal, near perambra, Calicut. My father in law is leaving for Saudi on 22nd and the Retreat is from 18th to 25th. Moreover, i have to attend a 5 day course for Quality management Systems-Lead Auditor Accreditation at Trivandrum from 3rd Dec to 5th Dec. I had informed my Dad that i will be attending an inner healing retreat, but was not sure to which retreat centre i would go. he was happy then, that i was getting some good sense. But, after i received the Forms for the course, i again informed my dad that i am going for a retreat at NRC from 18th to 25th. Then all hell broke loose. he asked me that, in spite of knowing that my Dad In Law is leaving on 22nd , why am i going for the retreat from 18th to 25th?? I informed him that i will be saying goodbye to him on 18th afternoon. But No Use!!I don't know whether it is true or not, but hereditarily, the males in my family are real hot tempered. I had a squabble with my Dad, and he slammed down the phone. When i informed the same decision to my Dad in law, he was cynical towards my decision and was after me to change it, there too i had a sort of a show down. I know, that i angered both my dads and i am sorry for that and I will be conveying it to them (both of them have gone to their respective club for a night out!) But, as a son, and a Christian, i have to obey my parents and i don't want to go against their wishes. Please pray that they will change their minds to allow me to go for the retreat. I had asked for transfer to kerala from Hyderabad for 2 reasons- 1 . to be with my wife during here pregnancy and 2. to go for an inner healing retreat. please pray that they change their minds
