We're pulling in the Google Closure compiler now, instead of YUIMin, so it's possible that there's something wrong happening there. Looking through the README I don't see anything about a particular set of version requirements - maybe it is limited to JDK 5? Although I'm using 1.6 here on OS X and it's building just fine, so I'm not sure :-/
