According to the chain of twisty passages leading from that ticket, it has been fixed in 1.4: http://dev.jquery.com/ticket/4707 http://github.com/jquery/jquery/commit/64e4a879f9f92053ac4d58a3fffc0bbff6900b6e Is that really the same bug though?
