An interesting approach, but I'm not entirely sure I'd want to rely on JS to parse a form for me and pass the SQL query to the (for example) PHP script that will be processing it.. especially by just using the query w/out checking. Adds complexity to a rather simple process I believe. BUT, that's just my opinion... I'm not trying to bash your plugin =).
