I've tested it with v1.1.3 and the improvements are enough to make a
substantial difference.

I thought John announced speed enchantments in 1.1.3. Is there someone
who benchmarked the test release already?
I would like to work with a speedy library too but i stay for the syntax
and plugins :) I agree with the fact that 20 shouldn't be an absolute
figure.
