The link to the page is http://www.gmarwaha.com/jquery/jcarousellite/testDisplayNone.php Since you are using document.ready event to both create the carousel and also hide it, it is possible that there will be a flicker while creating the carousel if you are downloading a few pictures. If you experience that, then add the following to ur stylesheet the represents the carousel div. .carousel { position: relative; visibility: hidden; left: -5000px; } This should solve your flicker problem.
