No, there isn't. Canvas and IECanvas is the closest you can get. I have done quite some research on that matter for a project where I really could have profited from canvas, but IECanvas was much too slow. You might also spend a thought on Java Applets - at least they work mostly browser-independent. > essentially something like the Web archives that IE has supported for years.
