For your Information: flash does not allow upload bigger than 100 Megs so this 
might explain that. I still have to implement filesize checking to make sure 
the user knows beforehand...

it behaves i little quirki with very big files. >600MB
looks like the browser crashed

would be nice to have a twirling cursor on the page to see, if its
uploading. the progressbar is nice, but with big files it would not
update for a long time.

would be nice to have the features like
