May be a bit premature, but I was testing some of my sites in IE8 beta ( 8.0.6001.17184) and all the effects using opacity are not working correctly. I checked all the fade effects on the docs and they don't fade in or out, and the thickbox, jqModal, LightBox plugins' overlays are showing as a solid color.
