Hi, new to jQuery and really any of the javascript libraries. I have read about many of them and seen the examples and am settling on jQuery or Mootools.
If I want to poll a database every x seconds and view new entries by users on a site (assuming I have many users updating, etc.), is that an ajax only thing or is that jQuery? In other words, is that something that I should do in Ajax alone or use the ajax jQuery classes? Thanks.
