[jQuery] Create Classes using jQuery

Hello,

I used Prototype so long. But I switched to jQuery. But now I have a
Question about creating classes.
With prototype I can use "Class.create" to create a new Class.
Is there a way in jQuery to do this? Or do I need the old JavaScript
syntax to create my classes?
