Well, to back up Alex's post, the "change" event fires when the textbox's value, uhhh, *changes*
so if you don't want the button to show up if the user goes into the box and goes out without changes, and *does* show if the user goes in and changes a value, then this is the event you want blur makes no sense in this situation
