Here's how to slideUp hide a row with the inner wrapping divs:

$("tr").click(function() {
  var tr = $(this);
  tr.children("td").each(function() {
    $(this).wrapInner("<div></div>").children("div").slideUp(function() {
      tr.hide();
    });
  });
});
