[jQuery] attribute selector: evaluating to variable

hi, how do i let a variable evaluate inside an attribute selector:

var adId=$(this).attr("adId");
//i want adId to be evaluated and not compare directly to 'adId' string
$('.removeFav[adId=adId]').show();
