Here is part of the code we use to set a min or max image on the collapsed
pane ( check the display property of your element
var visibility = jQuery(this).css('display');
if (visibility == "none") {
$image.attr('src', pageurl+"max.png");
} else {
$image.attr('src', pageurl+"min.png");
