[jQuery] How to remove the ascii down arrow for a menu that has children

Hi,

I am using SuperFish 1.4.8.

Each menu item that has children has a "↓" symbol added to the menu
name.  This is separate to the graphical arrow that is added when
"autoArrows:  true".

How do I remove this?
