Hello,
It looks like the data() method is not working "as expected" when used
with elements from another frame (or iframe).
Let's say we have an iframe. If we say inside it something like:
$("body").data("test", "test");
Then trying to read it from the parent window like:
$("body", frames[0].document).data("test") returns "undefined".
As far as I could see in the code, the data itself is stored in
$.cache which seams window-specific because $ is on window object.
Is this by design or something that should not be used this way?
I mean is there any "clean" way to access the data cross-window?
What do you think?
