Okay, so the dialog content is hidden on destroy. This is intended behavior. However, the dialog does nothing to ensure that the content is visible on init/open. This is probably a bug. Feel free to create a ticket for this at http://ui.jquery.com/bugs/newticket (requires registration). Thanks for building the test case.
