You example is very useful, but i am struck here with a problem. I am making a request to a jsp to get the special dates into a javascript array, but the beforeShowDay event is getting fired already by the time the response comes back from the jsp to update the special dates array. Is there any way i can reload the calendar with new array or delay beforeShowDay event until special array is updated for the new month or year?
