in fact, I used FireBug to look for the zindex of the uiDialog displayed before my datepicker, thats where I see it was 1002. I choose to put 3000 just in case of ... I don't know ;o) just to be sure !
Using css tweak tools of firebug, you should find a way to raise your date picker before the object(s) hiding it.
