Hello,
figured it out myself.
I added this line
this._trigger("beforeRemove", null, this._ui(this.anchors[index],
this.panels[index]));
to the ui.tabs.js as first line of code in the remove function, so now
i can get the index of the removed tab in my beforeRemove event.
