There is a bug in 3.0 that prevents BASIC authentication from being logged
out properly (the client caches the authenticate header and JRun assumes
that it is still valid). This has been fixed and will be available in the
first Service Pack (SP). The SP Release Candidate is currently in beta.

I guess its worth mentioning that with "FORM" based authetication,
invalidating the session object logs the user out.
But the same does not work with the BASIC authentication.
