Just curious,
have you fixed a unique JRun bug, or implemented the "Trap the
CTRL_LOGOFF_EVENT NT system event" workaround described on Sun's bug parade
report of the "VM shuts down when NT user logs off" bug?
It must be incredibily frustrating to have such a stupid and obvious VM bug
be totally ignored by Sun, when you try to make a living developing/selling
a Java server side solution...

Subject: JRun 3.0 Services keep shutting down!!?
We just installed JRun 3.0 w/ SP1 on a NT 4 server w/ SP6a to run as
Service. The problem is that as soon as the currently logged in user is
logged off. BOTH JRun Admin Server and JRun Default Server services SHUT
DOWN. They do not start if you log back in automatically either. You either
have to re-start them manually or they only seem to start automatically on a
re-boot, but then DO DHUT DOWN again as soon the the first logged in user
(doesn't matter which user it is) logs off.
I tried this on a Windows 2000 workstation and seem to have the same exact
problem. Anyone knows of a FIX or a workaround as we can not go to
production w/ this behavior.
Thanks.
Reza
