Look at the JRun logs. One of them may contain some kind of error message.

Subject: rmid - fail-safe mode
hi!
I'm trying to run my EJB app under fail-safe mode (rmid),
doing things like this following the manual:
java -Djava.security.policy=lib/jrun.policy \
-classpath lib/ejipt_tools.jar allaire.ejipt.tools.Server -start
this silently terminates without any errors/outputs.
but then there seems to be really nothing happening after all :p
and clients cannot even be run (not like in the sample4b).
I think I'm completely missing something somewhere; but
no idea -- any clues please?
so far I've tried this on following four combinations
{linux2.4.5,solaris8}/sun-jdk1.3.1/{jrun3.1,jrun302}
and things are just the same (jrun is only dev. evaluation copy btw.).
regards,
kenji
